Summary
Each day brings breakfast, lunch, dinner, preparation notes, and shopping guidance together in a calm daily view.
Its first screen puts the idea in one line: cook one clear day at a time. Around that daily view, people browse the complete reset, cook from a recipe library, save recipes, make appropriate swaps and learn about ingredients.
What it does
- A 14-day plan. Plan lays the reset out as a guided rhythm of meals, prep and shopping, and tracks each of the 14 days.
- The day first. Today opens on the current day of the reset, with a count of dishes cooked and planned and tabs for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Cook mode. One step per screen, with a photo, a step count and a single Next step button.
- Shopping. The list covers today, the next 3 or 7 days or all 14, follows the choice of 1 person or 2 people, and can be ticked off, shared or copied.
- Recipes and ingredients. 87 recipes, searchable and filtered by time and by meal, each tagged with its days in the reset, and a food guide to the ingredients.
The design
Daybowl sits on a warm, lightly textured cream ground, under a mark of a bowl with a rising sun. Food photography sits above rounded cards. Headlines are set in a soft serif (“Cook one clear day at a time.”, “Your 14 days”), and small letterspaced capitals in a brown amber label each screen and meal.
Choices are pill-shaped: segmented controls for the meal, the number of people and the shopping range, and filter chips that fill dark brown when selected. The main action is a wide amber button, such as Continue, Next step or Share items to buy. Five tabs run along the bottom: Today, Plan, Shop, Recipes and Food guide.
Cook mode strips the screen back further: a large photo, one instruction in big serif type, a step count and the Next step button.
Privacy and price
- Local-first. Reset progress, preferences, saved recipes, shopping checks and reminders stay on the device. There is no Daybowl account, advertising, tracking, analytics SDK or cloud database, and the App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.
- One purchase. Day 1 is included, and a one-time Daybowl Premium purchase unlocks the rest of the reset and its Premium tools. It is not a subscription.
- For adults. Daybowl is food education and cooking organization, not medical advice, and not an infant or child meal plan. For allergies, pregnancy, prescribed diets or medical conditions, its listing points to qualified guidance. Its age rating is 13+.
